This Privacy Policy explains what information Harbor collects through the Discord bot and this website, how it's used, and the choices you have. "Harbor," "we," and "us" refer to the Harbor bot and site described throughout the rest of this site.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Harbor, we may collect:

• Discord data: your Discord user ID, username, and avatar when you sign in with Discord or interact with the bot in a server; server IDs and settings for servers Harbor is added to; and moderation records (warns, mutes, bans) logged by server staff.
• ER:LC server data: live join/leave logs, kill logs, and player counts pulled from an ER:LC server's own API key, which a server owner supplies when connecting Harbor.
• Google sign-in data: your name, email, and profile photo, read directly from the sign-in token Google issues to your browser. We don't receive your Google password.
• Email sign-up data: a name and email address you type in directly, stored only on your own device.
• Content you submit: reviews, directory applications, sponsor applications, and support messages.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to operate Harbor's moderation and data features, display your name on reviews or directory listings you submit, keep you signed in on the same device, evaluate directory and sponsor applications, and maintain the status page and support inbox.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

Discord sign-in uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. Google and email sign-in are stored in your browser's local storage on your device rather than on our servers, so they don't carry over to a different browser or device.

4. Third-Party Services

Harbor relies on Discord for authentication and bot functionality, Google for Google Sign-In, and Netlify for hosting and backend functions. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data it handles on our behalf.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Moderation logs and server settings are retained for as long as Harbor remains in your server, and are removed if the server removes the bot. You can clear an email or Google account stored on your device at any time by signing out. To request deletion of data tied to your Discord account, reach out through the Support page.

6. Children's Privacy

Harbor is intended for use in compliance with Discord's own age requirements and isn't directed at children under the age required by Discord's Terms of Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
